Aunt Ernestine was unmatched. A legend of baltimore, friend to many, and an inspiration to all. I still remember admiring her sassy and sophisticated ways as a little girl and now mock them as a young woman. Thanks Aunt Ernestine for showing us how great we can be.

I am sorry to hear of such a great loss. I knew Ernestine when she had worked in Mayor Schaefer's office. I was a high school student who began working at City Hall at a part-time summer job. She treated me like I was a "somebody", that I was important. Always greeted everyone with that beautiful smile. Ernestine had such a positive energy that when she came into a room it came alive. I have many fond memories of Ernestine and am saddened to hear of her passing. Ernestine has definitely left her mark on this world and will be missed. Everyone should follow her lead in being such a kind, loving, wonderful person.

My aunt was an amazing person, she came from a long line of amazing women..six sisters to be exact, that show extrodinary strength, compasion, and humanity. She will be truly missed, and may the family strength come from love that Ernestine Rose Uncles shared in her life to so many. Missing you all

Dear Family, I remember Ernestine from working in the Mayor's Office. Such a caring, classy and compassionate lady. When she walked into the room, she was a radiant light; she made you feel good, happy and proud to be a part of whatever project she was working on. She was such a spark of life, love and beauty. She is surely shining brightly with the stars and angels of heaven. Cherish your memories of her; she'll always be among us.
