Joan Toner Obituary
Mrs. Toner will lie-in-state at St. Joseph Parish, 100 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD 21030 on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 11-12pm, at which time the Funeral Mass will begin. Interment at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization, 915 S. Federal Hwy, FL, 33435 or Muscular Dystrophy Association at mda.donordrive.com.

The Bernardos have nothing but warm memories of Aunt Joanie , Uncle Vince & the Toner clan. They taught us Rhode Islanders how to eat crabs, and we loved our annual Thanksgiving trips to Towson. God Bless!

Mrs. Joanie, AKA Rusty, was a special person to me and my family. As a child, she was the biggest fan of the Balcer girls as we danced and played the piano. As a teenager, she was one of my best confidants, listening to my girlfriend gossip, soliciting boyfriend advice, swapping paperback novels and spending endless hours together at the BYC pool and on the deck of the Lady Joan. As an adult, she introduced me to the value of a good gin & tonic and set the example of how laughter is required to be married for 50+ years. Thank you Mrs. Joanie! Thank you JP & Danette, Vince Jr., Katie & Dave, Mike & Bonnie, Vicki and Rick, Paul and ALL of your families for sharing your mom with us for all of these years. Heaven will be a happier place with Mr. Vince and Mrs. Joanie as residents.

Joan P. Toner. We wish to express our deepest sorrow and sincerest condolences to the entire Toner family, on the passing of our dear friend Joan.
We will never forget her hearty laughter, smiling face that will be surely missed and we will never forget the many good times we shared with her and Vince.
Her legacy will live on with her beloved family. The good Lord has certainly welcomed you Joan to join your husband Vince.
Our hearts go out to the Toner entire family.
