To the family of my dear brother Joe, Though you and I are experiencing the very real pain and sorrow of physical separation in Joe's death, it is equally true that he remains with us. He has not just gone off to some dark and distant place. He simply continues into eternal life, his spiritual eyes are filled with the light of heaven and are always watching us as he waits for the day when we shall share his perfect joy. Suffering is part of every Christian's life and for Joe it has been a way to enter into glory, as it was for Christ. Born for heaven, we will all end this
life of tears to begin our life of endless happiness - a life with power to know fully and to love perfectly. With Joe's new life and new power he is always present to us and loving us more than ever before. With Jesus and Mary he awaits the day when he will welcome us with joy.

Lee, I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. After 45 plus years of friendship words can't express my inner most feelings. I have many fond memories of these many years and he wasn't just a good husband and father he was truly a good person. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the rest of the family.
