Mark Short Obituary

Mark Daniel Short of Schnecksville, PA passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown, PA. He was 36.Born in Havre de Grace, MD he was the son of Deborah Short of Bel Air and the late Hurley D. Short, Jr.A decorated Navy Veteran who served his country during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mr. Short was employed as a transmission operator for PPL. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, working on his Corvette and 300ZX and riding motorcycles. In addition to his mom he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jennifer (Owens) Short of Schnecksville, PA and his children, DJ Hohman and Vanessa Sanders both of Schnecksville, PA.A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18 at 10:30am. Interment with military honors will be at St. Paul's Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at

I remember how much fun we had when we got together when you lived in Virginia. Our boys had so much fun together even if it was only for their 1st grade year. Was thinking about you you guys. RIP Mark. Left way too soon.
