James Drummond Obituary

James Alden Drummond Jr. Passed from this life at his home on May 11th 2007. He was born to Grace and James Sr. on November 22nd, 1919 in San Francisco. In 1942, he went into the Army Air Force and was sent to Sacramento where he met Ruth Ann Sawyer, wife and lifetime companion for 63 years. They had three children, James III, Danny Jay Drummond and Sally Ann Hall. Jim attended University of Calif. Pharmacy School earning a Bachelors of Science Degree. He moved to Terra Linda in 1958. Jim was an active member of the Marin County Pharmaceutical Association. He was employed by Long's Drugs in San Anselmo and Sonoma as Pharmacy Manager. Jim will be remembered for loving a good laugh and was forever ready with a joke to fit the occasion. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by ten grandchildren: Kert, Kimberly, Kevin Drummond, and Kristen Lein; James, Lowell, Steven Jr. Hall and Annie Linden; Melinda Ricoli, and Michele Drummond; and also seven great grandchildren. His wishes were for cremation and a celebration of his life to be held May 19th, 2007 at 2:00 PM where he was a member at the Christian Church of San Rafael, 50 Los Ranchitos Road.

I'm sorry for your loss. I worked with Jimbo at the Longs in San Anselmo back in the early 70s. Still remember him with his funny jokes.
