Uncle Tom, I love and miss you so very much. I hear from people that loss gets easier with time. It is not true. Your dear wife, Bernie, your children, Erin and Patrick love and miss you like you left for heaven yesterday. And so do I. You know, I loved all of my uncles very much. There was and still is something very special about you. I could not wait to see you on family holidays. My heart feels sad that you are not here with your family. I imagine you were happy to see my Dad in October. I know you will take care of him and all of our family there. One day, I will look for your smiling face. Love Always, Your Niece, Loriann

I am remembering my Uncle Tom today. He was such a good man. As uncles go, he was the best. My best memories of him is sitting with him having a slice of grandma's pie. I would just be sitting there grinning. He would have this smile and sit quietly and eat his pie with me at grandma's table. Then he would say, "As slice of grandma's pie is the best thing this side of heaven." Truer words have never been said. Everyone loved Uncle Tom. I loved all my uncles, but it was his way of sitting there taking in just looking at his family with happiness on his face that I marveled at. I thought to myself ( I am a little girl at the time) Uncle Tom knows this is the best family ever. I miss him. I know he is in heaven with our family. It gives my heart peace knowing he is there to take care of my mother, my husband, David and my sister, Lisa - along with the rest of our family. My thoughts are with my Aunt Bernie, cousin, Erin & her husband, Scott and cousin, Patrick. Love Never Ends...Not Ever

I am remembering my Uncle Tom today. I was with his brother, Dick (my Dad) today and we spoke of him and how much we missed him. I will never not miss him. He was a kind, gentle soul who I absolutely adored. I know that one day, our family will all be together again. I Love You and Miss You, Your Niece, Loriann

Dave and I so enjoyed all the good times we had together. Tom and you raised two great children who grew up to be terrific adults. You know I will always be there for you. All you need to do is call. I was so blessed to be with you, Erin and Pat. Love you much, Jeannie

I have a special memory of Uncle Tom and I sitting at Grandma Christina's table eating pie together. I couldnt have been more than 7 or 8-years-old. Gtandma was in the kitchen and the family was here and there but he and I were the only ones at the table. He looked at me and said "Does Grandma's pie make you happy?" I didnt even speak, just nodded by head with happiness in my eyes. Hey, we all know that Grandma's pies were the best this world has ever seen. Uncle Tom kind of turned his head toward the kitchen, just grinning and said. "Mom, we are in heaven eatting your pie and we can prove it. We have twinkling stars in our eyes." He laughed and I giggled. I carry that sweet memory of me and him in my heart. I wanted to share it with you all. I will miss him for the rest of my life.

Uncle Tom was a great uncle and my godfather. As a kid i was always excited to know that uncle Tom would be at my grandparents house when we came to visit. He always made me feel special and made me feel he really cared about me as a person and what i was doing in my life. Uncle Tom was always a great professional influence in my life. "You know" i will always miss Uncle Tom and his special way of telling stories and how he enjoyed laughing.

Uncle Tom had a great sense of humor with a loving and caring personality. I wouldn't be surprised if he is telling many funny stories to our family members and other angels in heaven. Robert and I will miss him.

Uncle Tom always took the time to talk to us when we were growing up. We very much enjoyed he and Bernie coming to see us in Winter Park. He will be missed by all mostly because he made an impression on everyone he met and touched. He was a kind and gentle soul, a great family man and loved by all. We will remember him always.

To Aunt Bernie, Cousins Erin and Patrick, our love to you for your loss. Uncle Tom was a great story teller whose eyes would sparkle the closer he got to the 'punch' line. He treated everyone with respect and was a true Christian in his living. We will miss him.

Uncle Tom was a sweetheart. Always made you laugh and his laugh was infectious. It is so sad that he had to leave this earth at an early age, but I take comfort in knowing that he is now in heaven with my Grandparents, my Dad and some of his other siblings. What a reunion they are having. He will be missed by all you knew and loved him. Love, Pam and Bob Griswold

It is difficult to find words good enough to describe my Uncle Tom. He was a kind, lovable, sincere, good, wonderful man. I adored him. I know he is in heaven with our family that was waiting for him with open arms. I think of all of them covering him with kisses at the happy reunion. Especially Grandma Christina. I will miss you so much Uncle Tom. Love Loriann xoxo
