Mary Bauer Obituary

Mary Heiner Bauer, 90, of Winnie, died Monday, May 8, 2023. She was born August 14, 1932, in Beaumont, to Lydia Schiesler Heiner and Adolph Henry Heiner, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Carol Walther and husband, Michael, of Maryville, Illinois; Janet Taylor and husband, Tim, of Houston; and Linda Bauer, of Bastrop; daughter-in-law, Christie Bauer of Winnie; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Bauer; parents; children, Jack Bauer and Marilyn Erickson; and great-great-grandson, Allen Mengers.

A gathering of Mrs. Bauer's family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2023, at Hope Lutheran Church, 1322 9th Avenue, Winnie, with her interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
