Willard Hill Obituary

1926 - 2015 Funeral services for Willard Dean Hill, 88, of Silsbee, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 19, 2015, at First United Methodist Church in Silsbee, with a Masonic graveside service to follow at RS Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, at Farmer Funeral Home. Mr. Hill passed away March 15, 2015, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mr. Hill was a native of Opal, Arkansas, and a longtime resident of Silsbee. He worked as an Agent and District Manager for American National Insurance. Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Rupert and Mary Parks Hill; brother, William Thomas Hill; sisters, Bernice Weatherford, Melba Manasco; and grandson, Jeff Grisham. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Willa Dean Hill; daughters, Nancy Haworth and husband, Michael of Orange, Deanna Welborn and husband, Ricky of Silsbee; sisters, Jane Payne of Dardanelle, Ark, Lorene Sheer of Searcy, Ark, Thelma Ray of Searcy, Ark; grandchildren, Brandie Ousley and husband, Daryl, Joseph Welborn and wife, Shree, Andrew Haworth and wife, Cindi, David Haworth and wife, Kathy, Megan King and husband, Shane and many nieces and nephews.

Willa and family, so sorry to hear of one of my most favorite people passing away. I did not know until today that Dean had died. He was a dear man, heaven has gained a wonderful person. Will see you soon.
