Alicia Dickinson
Alicia V. Dickinson, 22, of Collinsville, Ill., formerly of Granite City, Ill., born on Oct. 6, 1987, passed from this life on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, in Madison, Ill.
Alicia was a student at Southwestern Illinois College and a waitress at the Hard Rock Cafe in St. Louis, Mo. Throughout her life she was a free sprit and independent. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Destinee Herzing of Granite City, Ill.; her parents, Neal and Patricia, nee Knight, Dickinson; two brothers, Joshua Dickinson of Alton, Ill., and Blake Adams of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister, Sky-Blue Koehler of Chicago, Ill.; step mom, Helen Dickinson of Collinsville, Ill.; step sister, Donna Jo Davis of Collinsville, Ill.; fiance, Anthony Herzing of Granite City, Ill.; and her grandmother, Linda Menke of Granite City, Ill.
Memorials are suggested to the family.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, Ill.

Funeral: A celebration of her life will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at the funeral home with the Rev. Clint Wisdom officiating.

I only knew Alicia from being a regular customer at Hard Rock Cafe, She was a very sweet girl, always polite to me and my grandson. I can't believe someone so young could pass away. How did this happen?

We are so sorry to hear this news of Alicia. We have many fond memories and great pictures of times spent at our house during the Elementary and Middle School years. Our thoughts are with her family and her many friends at this most difficult time.

Alicia was a very strong woman. She loved Destinee with all her heart. Alicia will be greatly missed. My heart go's out to her family. Anthony and Destinee, I love you guys very much. If you need anything don't hesitate to call. I love you Alicia and will miss you. R.I.P Sweet sexy mama.

hi i went to school with Alicia my name is swain thrasher i have not seen her in a while the last time i saw her she was working in popdocs she was happy to tell me about her daughter.in school she was so nice to people and so so smart she was just fun to be with. we all will miss her.may god take her in his imbrace and all the best to destinee and all her family.
