Irene Blake
Irene Blake nee Ferguson, 89, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born May 19, 1917, in Windsor, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at Caseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Caseyville, Ill.
Mrs. Blake was employed at Kern Manufacturing Company in Neoga, Ill., and a member of Christ the King Apostolic Church, in O'Fallon, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Mary, nee Corkwell, Ferguson; a sister, Doris Russell; three brothers, Clarence Ferguson, Dale Ferguson and Dwight Ferguson.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence H. Blake; her son, Pastor Larry (Ruth) Blake of Fairview Heights, Ill.; her grandchildren, Rev. Kevin (Jeanine) Blake, Rev. Jonathan (Angela) Blake, and Camille Blake; her great grandchildren, Tiffany (Joel) Williams, Laura Blake, Lindsay Blake, Jeron Blake, Justin Blake, Jalen Blake, and Jordan Blake; two brothers, Warren (Luzetta) Ferguson of Bethany, Ill., and Forrest (Jackie) Ferguson of Sullivan, Ill.; a sister, Gail Casstevens of Mattoon, Ill.; many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Christ the King Apostolic Church.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. on
Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at Christ the King Apostolic Church, 6920 Old Collinsville Road, O'Fallon, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at Christ the King Apostolic Church with Pastor Larry Blake, the Rev. Kevin Blake and the Rev. Jonathan Blake officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville, Ill.
