O'Fallon, Illinois - Jeanette "Jean" Ruth Hardy Weaver, 92, of O'Fallon, IL, born Tuesday, April 8, 1930, in Chicago, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her residence in O'Fallon, IL.
Jean was the 8th child of Antonio and Rosaria Maria Baffo, immigrants from southern Italy to the Burnside neighborhood of Chicago. She had worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a nurse's aide in the "comprehensive medical unit". She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in O'Fallon, IL.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years, Robert W. Hardy and also Charles H. Weaver.
Surviving are her 4 children, Kathleen A. DiRosaria, Janet Sheldon (Chris), David Hardy (Lori) and Bruce Hardy. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Christy Paddock (Robert), Jaimee Dugger (Kevin), Tracy Baldwin (Kenny), Brian Sheldon (Nanette), Mandy Grace (Michael), Chandra DiRosaria (Daniel), Rachaela DiRosaria (Russ) and Angela Hardy; 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
