Our Lives are a Journey

Our lives are a journey
filled with path we each will take –
our joys found in the love we give
and friendships
that we make..
The roads we choose along the way
provide a chance to see
the beauty in each person's heart
and share its mystery .
Our fortunes aren't in “what we have'
but how we think and feel—
it's caring for those close to us
and sharing what is real..
And though we can't know how much time
we'll share or know just why
we have to let a love one go and say that last good –bye,
we travel on through life
and find the memories
we hold dear will keep our loved ones close at heart,
their spirits always near.
With our deepest sympathy to the Jordan family

Mike was a very caring person. He made friends very quickly because he told it like it was. He cared about people first and would try to help them out. He will be missed. Men like Mike are far and few between. I am so sorry for your family loss.

I'll always have fond memories of talking with Mike. I'll never forget how he told me he was an extra in the movie "Starship Troopers" and the things he would do on-set. he was a true brother and a warm-hearted soul. He will be sorely missed. My families thoughts and prayers are with his son and family.

Boss,

Words can't express how much your friendship has meant in my life. You will always be remembered as an incredible man and a remarkable friend. I will forever cherish our hunting trips, lunches, World Series games, and just hanging out when we needed to get away. I will miss the cigars in the blind and the endless barrage of friendly banter at the occasionally missed waterfowl. You were the older brother I never had, guiding me and ever encouraging along the way. I am truly blessed to have known you and call you my friend.

You were one in a million, as I know of no better father, friend, and brother.

May you rest in peace brother

So mote it be

Mike was a good man, a great friend and a true Brother.

I sat here Sunday going through old photos of bike trips, work events, football games and other activities that Mike and I shared through the years. We shared some great memories and some amazing adventures. It's a shame we don't realize how much someone has been a part of our lives until they're not.

You will be forever missed; Rest in peace dear friend.

Michael you really did seem like a good man. One of my best childhood friends (your son) will make you very proud with all that he will achieve in his life. You seemed like a great dad to him and I wish I could thank you for all that you have done for him. You were a very successful man and it just sucks that bad things always happen to good people. I will never forget all the memories around you and your son. I used to be over at your house all the time.I'm glad Drew will be able to say that he had such a great dad in his life. With all the hunting trips and such that you guys always went on, I have no doubt your son will continue to love all the hobbies that you loved and I have no doubt he will try to follow your foot steps and make you a proud father. Also, I'd just like to say I am blessed to have been able to be such good friends with your son and I'm so blessed I was able to spend the time I did with you and your family.

I tried to think how long I had known Mike, and it felt much longer than 5 years. It seems as though we were instantly great friends. I'll never forget the Cardinals playoff games in 2011, texting play-by-plays while in the deer stand, hunting for auction treasures, and laughing so hard at work that my stomach hurt. I was devastated when I heard the news. You made everyone around you a better person, and will be sorely missed.

Mike was such a wonderful human being and a generous soul. It is apparent that in his 43 years, he touched the lives of everyone he knew. He didn't know a stranger. He has provided all of us with so many wonderful memories, we will forever hold on to. Thank you for your contribution to our lives! To Drew and Family: Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of countless friends. Peace and comfort to you all! With Love,

My dear baby brother, I know God has a plan for you and I am not suppose to question his plan. However, I find myself asking God "WHY" your time on earth had to end so soon. My heart is forever broken and I feel life will never be the same without you. I have no doubt you are in a better place, but the selfish part of me wishes I could have kept you here longer.

Through this tragedy, I have learned so much more about you. I know you as a brother, dad, and son but have realized you are so much more than that. Your friends and coworkers that have messaged and called just to share how you touched their lives, has been absolutely phenomenal. So until we meet again.....rest in peace baby brother, you have achieved more in your short 43 years on earth than what many of us can achieve in a liifetime. Your memory will live on forever in those that were fortunate enough to have known you.

You will be forever loved and missed by many! I love you Michael Jordan and will look forward to seeing you again when God calls me home.

Mike was a great man, a great leader and true American who I was honored to have for a friend. His great attitude and enthusiasm to go out and live life made me a better man. I will miss him at the family dinners and hunting trips. My family's hearts are broken. We will meet again when my time over.
