Wayne Brugere Obituary

Wayne Brugere
Wayne L. "Ace" Brugere, 66, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., as a result of a brain tumor.
Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, and Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence, Miss. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at the funeral home chapel with burial in Star Cemetery, Star, Miss., with the pallbearers, Jerry Cooper, Kenneth Cooper, Jackie Aikens, Johnnie Hudgens, Reggie Bell, Greg Welborn, Jerome Delancey and Vince Gibbs.
Mr. Brugere had been a resident of Star, Miss., for 37 years. He retired from Jackson Coca Cola in 2001 after 35 years of employment. An avid hunter and fisherman, Mr. Brugere was a member of the Braxton hunting club and was a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cyril Brugere; his sister, Barbara Ann Brugere; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Muench.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Brugere of Star, Miss.; his son. John W. Brugere of Star, Miss.; his daughter, Frankie (Mickey) Musgrove of Florence, Miss.; his granddaughter, Brooke Musgrove; his mother, Shirley Brugere of Belleville, Ill., his mother-in-law, Aletha Smith of Star, Miss.; his sister, Karen (Richard) Bruno of Belleville, Ill.; his aunt, Floye Allan of Belleville, Ill.; his uncle, Orval (Ruth) Kaiser of Haciendao Heights, Calif.; four nieces; four nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nephews.
