Lynn Ann Bowen

Lynn Ann Bowen passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on February 16, 2013 at the tender age of 65. Lynn was born on June 22, 1947 in the town of Kingman Arizona to proud parents Mary Lou and Ernst Leichsenring. She graduated salutatorian at Kingman High School, and continued her education at Northern Arizona University where she received an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. Lynn had two children Jacob John and Jenny Lynn. Lynn not only was an involved Mother, but worked as a book keeper at Freiday Construction. Lynn and John raised their family in Kingman Arizona. In the year of 2007, Lynn and John retired to Washington State where she would reside the rest of her days. Lynn had many interests, but will be remembered most for the love of her family, reading non-fiction books, taking long road trips with her husband, her love of the Christmas season, Armadillo dip, baking thick sugar cookies, her delicious caramels, and of course her famous German potato salad. Lynn was an amazing and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years John Bowen, sister Janet Berglund, son Jacob Bowen, daughter Jennifer Mack, and her 8 beautiful grandchildren. Lynn was preceded in death by her Mother and Father. Lynn Ann Bowen met her death with courage, strength, love, resolve and with an appreciation for all that life and our heavenly Father has given her. She will be greatly missed, until we will all meet again in heaven. At her request, no services will be held.
