1952 - 2014 CHESHIRE Chris A. Sadlowski, 62, of 163 Willow Cove Road, died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born on Oct. 30, 1952 in Pittsfield, he was a son of the late Julian and Ann Knickerbocker Sadlowski. A Dalton native, he had resided in Cheshire for the past 39 years. He was educated in Dalton schools and was a 1970 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School. He also attended Berkshire Community College. Chris was employed as a circuit board wireman at General Electric and its predecessor Martin Marietta for 25 years. He had also worked at one time as a cabulance driver and at Verizon as a 4-1-1 operator. He retired in 2006. He was a past member of Grace Episcopal Church in Dalton, the Cheshire Volunteer Fire Department and Cheshire Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, boating and going to the beach at Pine Island, Fla. He also enjoyed cooking, baking and going to Foxwoods. One of his greatest joys was being a grandfather to his best friend, his grandson, Levi. He leaves his wife, the former Audre` Smith of Cheshire whom he married on Feb. 23, 1974 at St. Agnes Church in Dalton. A daughter, Karolyn E. Sadlowski of Cheshire and a son, Aron C. Sadlowski of Cheshire. A brother, Neil Sadlowski of Dalton and his sister, Judith Bolton and her husband Leslie of Largo, Fla. He also leaves his grandson, Levi M. Sadlowski and his sisters-in-law, Karen Lincoln and her husband, Kenneth and Tracy Daugherty and her husband, Robert all of Dalton and his brother-in-law, John Powers of Dalton. He was predeceased by a brother, Kim Sadlowski and by a sister, Annette Sadlowski. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Memorial Service for Chris A. Sadlowski who died Nov. 14, 2014 will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton. Burial will take place at a later date in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the Dery-Foley Funeral Home.
