Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 13, 1957, son of Anthony R. and Virginia Frazitta Pignone, he attended local schools. He graduated from high school and college in Connecticut. He graduated as a computer operator.
He enlisted and served in the Marines. He worked for a short time in the Connecticut area as a computer operator. He also did work in electronics and carpentry as a sideline.
He leaves two brothers, Anthony J. Pignone of Abington and Peter Pignone of Italy; three sisters, Denise Shogry of Pittsfield, Valigia Cudworth and Toni Marie Gage, both of Pittsfield; a stepbrother, George Norton of Pittsfield; two stepsisters, Mary Mechare of Middlefield and Sandy Perreault of Fairhaven, N.Y.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Edward J. Pignone, age 45, died Sept. 2, 2003. He is also survived by Phillip Daigle of Northampton. He was predeceased by a stepsister, Betty Jean Kilfeather. There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
