Rita Bernadette Giglio

Rita Bernadette Giglio, 86, of 74 Furnace St., North Adams, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 5, 2006. at the Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on June 20, 1920, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary (DeMarco) Giglio. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from the Drury High School in 1938. She also graduated from the former Bliss Business College in North Adams.
Miss Giglio was first employed with Attorney Valmore E. Cote for a short time. She then joined the Arnold Print Works, North Adams, for about two years and then transferred to its plant in Adams, where she worked for 43 years, until her retirement in 1983.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Adams.
She was a member of the Italian Catholic Girls Club.
She leaves nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Rita Giglio will be celebrated Friday morning, Dec. 8, 10:30 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday, 9-10 a.m., at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Anthony Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
