Robert F. Buckley

Mr. Robert F. Buckley, 77, of Adams, died on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. He was born in Springfield, MA on November 2, 1946, a son of the late William and Helen (Mckeon) Buckley. He attended schools in Ohio and graduated from the Worthington High School in Worthington, OH. He then graduated from Ohio State University and Xavier University. Mr. Buckley was a professor of marketing and advertising at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and the former North Adams State College. He served on the board of directors for the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. He is survived by his husband Bradford L. Despres, whom he married on March 11, 2006; his sister, Joanne Boyer of Moultonborough, NH; three brothers, William Buckley of Newport Beach, CA, John Buckley of Pickerington, OH and James Buckley of Upper Arlington, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews.
