Thomas J. Salice LEE Thomas Joseph Salice, 48, of Franklin Street died peacefully at home after facing a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family and his favorite nurse, Julie.Born in Pittsfield, the son of Mary Giarolo Salice and the late J. Victor Salice, he attended Lee Schools and was a 1977 graduate of Lee High School. Tom was owner and operator of I&M Contractors and Builders. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and relaxing on his front porch, playing darts, golfing, carpentry and going to concerts. He loved vacationing on the beach with his girls. He loved his wife, Denise Mooney Salice, whom he married Sept. 25, 1992. He loved his daughters, Danielle and Madelyn. He also leaves his mother, Mary Salice of Lee; two brothers, James Salice and Joseph Salice, both of Lee; mother-in-law, Peggy Mooney, his brothers- and sisters-in-law along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His father died in 1984 and his father-in-law, Donald J. Mooney, died in 1986. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Thomas Salice will be Monday morning at 9:15 from the KELLY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
