Our beloved, son, father, brother, uncle and friend Joseph M. Sisco, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at his home in Barryton, where he resided with his daughter. Joe was born in Clare, Michigan on April 16, 1974 to Raymond and Mary (Preston) Sisco. He was raised in the Barryton & Weidman area. Joe graduated from Beal City High School in 1993 where he played football.
Joe worked for Brad Peasley Trucking LLC for the last 7 years. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed Bow Shoots and being with friends and family. When you couldn't find him, he was most likely in a tree stand. He was laid back, opinionated to some degree and kindhearted.
Terry Pratchett said "No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away." Left to carry on Joe's ripples are: the lights of his life, who he was so proud of, his two daughters, Delaney Sisco of Barryton and Margo Sisco of Remus; parents, Mary Sisco of Chippewa Lake and Ray (Bonnie) Sisco of Lake; two sisters, Kelly (Chris Russo) Sisco of Mesa, AZ and Darcey Sisco of Chippewa Lake; two nephews, Dustin (Ally) Chase and Hunter (Izzy) Chase and both of Blain, MN; two nieces, Zadey Kazmirski of Chippewa Lake and Brittnee Russo of Blain, MN; one great niece, Colbie Chase of Blain, MN, his beloved dog and p.i.a, Fletcher and many extended family and close friends.
Joe is now reunited with his grandparents, Virgil (Emma) Sisco and Robert (Elizabeth) Preston.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. this Saturday, February 5th at the Barryton Community Center (Fork Twp. Com. Ctr), 3265 20 Mile Rd., with visitation one hour prior, 1-2p.m.
Memorial donations can be made to his family. Arrangements and care were entrusted to the Corey Funeral Home in Evart, where his daughter is serving her apprenticeship.
