Edwin "Ed" Rogers went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 23, 2011, after a long struggle with multiple illnesses.
He was born in Butte, Mont., to Edwin "Bidda" and Hazel Rogers and was raised in Centerville. He met and later married Luella Lowney, on Aug.15, 1964. To that union they had two wonderful sons, James and Michael.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Luella; his sons, James (Cristina) and Michael (Kim); brother, James (Gloria) and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Hazel Rogers; sisters, Thelma and Dorothy.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church on Tuesday, July 26, at 10 a.m. with inumment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
