Scott Kammerich Obituary

SCOTT JOSEPH KAMMERICH Scott Joseph Kammerich, 67, of Pilot Grove, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at his home, with his family at his side. He was born July 13, 1956, in Boonville, the son of Earl and Jeanette (Hartman) Kammerich. On March 3, 1979, in Pilot Grove, he was married to Nancy (Hutchison). Scott was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Fuqua Homes for several years, and later at Nordyne. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. His favorite hobby was lawn tractor pulls. He had a heart for cats and rescued many around town. Scott was a people person and would help anybody with anything. He had a good sense of humor and was known to make people laugh. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Surviving are his wife, Nancy, of the home; two daughters, Shauna Dungan (Josh), of Pilot Grove, and Kristin Salas (Greg), of Knob Noster; four grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kaleb, Morgan and Kason; brothers, Gary (Deanna Hodges) Kammerich, and Kurt (Yvonne) Kammerich; sisters, Karen (Frank) Watring and Lisa (Steve) Childs; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Kent Kammerich and Steve Kammerich. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, followed by a graveside committal service and military honors at 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sedalia Spay and Neuter Clinic, in the care of the funeral home.
