Clifford Mosley Obituary
He was born November 24, 1943 in Longview, Texas to Clifford Jackson and Dorothy Elizabeth (Reynolds) Mosley. Cliff graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon and Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI, where he met his bride-to-be. On May 10, 1969, Clifford Mosley, Jr. and Linda Ann James were married at Newport, Rhode Island at St. Mary's church.
He was in the United States Navy and the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant colonel from the United States Army. During his civilian years, he was an information coordinator with the Rhode Island government.
Preceding him in death was a daughter, Carolyn Ann Mosley and his parents.
Left behind to cherish his many memories are his wife, Linda Ann Mosley of Amarillo; 2 sons: Clifford J. "C.J." Mosley, III and wife Lisa of Fall City, Washington and Jonathan J. Mosley and wife Miriam of Greenville, Texas; 2 sisters: Narvella "Janey" Keranen and husband Randy of Borger and Sylvia DeBaere and husband James of Amarillo; a brother Jon Mosley of Amarillo and 1 granddaughter, Kate Mosley of Fall City, Washington.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, 206 W. 1st Street, Borger. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Borger.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
