CAROL A. BURNS

BURNS, Carol A. Age 81, of Wellesley and Dedham, devoted mom and nana passed away, May 12, 2025, after a long illness. Raised in Worcester, as the beloved daughter of Irish and Canadian immigrants, Kitty and Jack MacDonald, she held a lifelong love of her extended family. She rarely met someone should wouldn't later call a friend, and was blessed to have a rich life of friendships made throughout her life. She would count people from childhood, nursing school, her Wellesley neighborhood, rugby contacts, various coworkers, and later the many people who lovingly helped her in her aging as friends who she treasured even as memories faded. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Tim; and is survived by her son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Lynn; and her grandchildren, Jack and Katie who were the joys of her life. Memorial Service will be held in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., WELLESLEY, on Friday, August 1, at 2pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00.
