CYNTHIA C. DEFELICE

1933 - 2017

DeFELICE, Cynthia C. Age 83, of Newburyport, died January 28, 2017, at Woodbriar Health Center in Wilmington. Born in Brighton, Massachusetts on October 24, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Edward DeFelice and Theresa (Zannotti) DeFelice and was a graduate of Watertown High School, after which she attended a college business program in Newton. She truly loved her career as a buyer and manger for the former Jordan Marsh which later became Macy's and the friendships that developed over the years. Cynthia enjoyed traveling, particularly to her beloved Italy. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, and with her love and knowledge of African violets, was a member of the African Violets Club. She is survived by her cousins, Suzie Giovanditti of Waltham, Everett Zannotti and wife Patricia of Peabody, Edmond Montello and wife Mary Ann of Rockport, Alan Montello and wife Nancy of West Newbury, and Lori Montello and husband Michael of Wakefield, along with extended family members and dear friends. Visiting Hours: at Ellliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, NEWBURYPORT will be Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 1 to 3 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Church, 42 Green Street, Newburyport, followed by a burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Newburyport.
