DONALD MARINO Obituary

MARINO, Donald J. "Sonny" Of Orient Heights, East Boston. Born on the Fourth of July! Died March 27, at 81 years young, after a three year, hard fought battle with illness. He went on his own terms, and for those that knew and loved Sonny please lovingly know and remember that he "sang" right to the end, and all the way to Heaven. He was number eight, the youngest brother of the seven Giambrones of East Boston. He is survived by his loving wife Lillian N. (Iapicca) Marino, daughter Leah Marino Dillon and her husband Robert E. Dillon Jr. of South Boston and Boxford, his three beautiful grandchildren that were his world, many nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Sonny's life will be held in Saint Anthony's Church, 250 Revere St., Revere, MA, on Friday, March 30 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully and lovingly invited.
