Dorothy O'Connell Obituary

O'CONNELL, Dorothy H. "Dory" 29, of Malden and Gloucester, MA on July 4th, 2011, daughter of Teresa (Sheehan) O'Connell of Gloucester and the late Gregory O'Connell. Beloved sister of Liam and his wife Brenna, Thomas, Nell and Kieran O'Connell. She was the beloved niece of Eileen Mueller and her husband Joseph, Thomas Sheehan and his wife Mary, John Sheehan and his wife Mary Ann and great aunt Sister Teresa Sheehan of Riverdale, NY, beloved cousin of Joseph Mueller and his wife Allison and their children, Aidan, Will and Lilah and cousins, Ryan and Colin Mueller and Ciara and baby Jack. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony's-by-the-Sea Chapel, Holy Family Parish, Farrington Avenue, Gloucester on Friday, July 8, at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. The burial will be held privately. Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester are on Thursday (today) from 5 - 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Cambridge Rehabilitation Center, 73 Dana St., Cambridge, MA 02138 or to Cambridge Eating Disorders, 3 Bow St., Cambridge, MA 02138.
