Whatever Ed Rothschild did, he utilized the highest ethical standards. As a genuinely involved, albeit, calm and reserved community activist, he was one of the principal forces behind the gentrification of Boston South End, now one of Boston's most desirable neighborhoods. He had a substantive understanding of what it meant to be a "friend". He was, in short, a class act! I KNOW his memory will serve as a blessing to us all.

Dear Sandie, Jennifer & Michael... I am saddened by the untimley loss of Ed and believe he is in a better place, resting at peace now.
I am an old time graduate of Boston University and a fraternity brother who always enjoyed the time Ed and I were able to spend together at fraternity functions, meetings, etc.
My condolences go to all the family, grandchildren and in-laws. He will be remembered!!!

I work with Stephen Gray of TRG in Boston and have been with the firm for almost 7 years. Ed called often over the years and each of my conversations with him were very enjoyable. In the world of today he will be remembered as a very sweet and dear man.
