I worked for your husband as a PE teacher. He was a great man for a young teacher fresh out of Bridgewater State College to be mentored by.
I was only with him for two years but never forgot the things I learned under his leadership. All the best

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of another friend and classmate. Eddie and I grew up in the same neighborhood and attended St Mary Grammar and High School together. He was always kind and friendly and I remember him telling me all about his school, Holy Childhood, at our 26th HS reunion (we didn't have a 25th). At the time I was teaching K-8 Art at a private Catholic school in Virginia where I lived for 30 years and we compared notes about our schools. From what I have read, Eddie was a very dedicated educator and I'm sure influenced many young lives for the better. Please know that he is in my thoughts and prayers along with his large family and I will have a Mass said for him at St Therese Old Catholic Church in West Warwick, RI which is my parish. May he rest peacefully in the arms of the Risen Christ.

I am so impressed with the dedicated life that Edward lived and the love that he showered upon so many people, especially his family. I only knew him as a young boy in Brookline. Be assured that my thoughts and prayers will be for his loving family who miss him. His sudden departure from their lives has left much pain. May you unite your sufferings with those of Jesus on the Cross so that you too may experience the joy, consolation and happiness of the Risen Christ. I am sure that our loving Father in Heaven has received Edward into His loving embrace. In the midst of your loss keep your hope in the Resurrection always alive in your hearts. Arthur Edward Amaral

I loved Ed and his entire family. Ed's Dad, my Uncle John, was very close to us. He would be over at our house in West Roxbury (My Vernon St.) almost every weekend while we were young. Ed, Thank-You for all the wonderful memories. My deepest condolences to his Family.
