CROWE, Ellen "Ellie" (Flaherty) Of Braintree, formerly of Bunowen, Ballyconneely Co. Galway, Ireland, passed away June 16, 2012. Beloved wife of William "Bill" Crowe. Loving mother of Mary Ann Jackle and her husband Todd of Braintree and Ellen R. Lewis and her husband Don of Braintree. Daughter of the late Mark and Ann (Reilly) Flaherty. Devoted sister of Bridget Kilkenny of Tuam, Co. Galway, Ireland, Mary Flaherty of Bunowen, Co. Galway, Ireland, and the late Mark Flaherty. Dear "Ninni" to Cameron, Connor, and Quinn Lewis, Hunter and Hannah Jackle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. "Ellie" was born in Ireland and came to the United States at an early age. For the past 36 years she had lived in Braintree. She was retired from the former Norfolk County Hospital, Braintree, where she had worked for 20 years as a dietitian. She was also a long time communicant of St. Clare Church, Braintree. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., BRAINTREE, until 11:00 AM Wednesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 Noon in St. Clare Church, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hour Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
