Johnny G was my best buddy for 65 years and has been close to all my family as long as they can remember. We loved him and will miss him. Too many memories to recount.

I'm so sorry... John was such a wonderful person and a very dear friend to many Russian musicians, who came to the US with performances. He also went to Russia with american chorals few times. We will miss John very much! Amen... Oksana and family

To the entire Govan family -
We were saddened to learn of John's death. He was a very integral part of our lives, mentoring us for several years, as we took over the reins of his beloved Duxbury Wine & Spirits. May he rest in peace.
