My memories of Jackie were as a little boy. He was the most handsome little boy that I can remember. He had the most beautiful big brown eyes and long eylashes and the greatest laugh.

We are so sorry for your loss. Jack was so kind and such a wonderful presence every morning and afternoon. He always had a treat for our dog, Jada (border colllie) and she even looked for him today. Our thoughts are with you.

We received this heartbreaking news this morning. We are so sad about our lost of Jack. We were new to Runkle area. It was Jack's warm greetings and wavings light up our days. We all miss him!

I am heartbroken to hear of the sudden passing of Jack. My heart goes out to your family. Jack would always offer a kind smile and greeting each morning as I arrived to work and each afternoon when I was able to see him upon leaving. Other times we would share a wave if I was driving. As a teacher at Runkle, I loved seeing Jack every day. He was always ready with a kind word and greeting. He will be greatly missed as he stood out as a person who truly cared for others. I am devastated to hear of your family's loss of a great man. Condolences, Sarah Moghtader

We are so sorry to learn of John's passing. He has a special place in the heart of the Runkle School community. He made the walk to and from school special. John seemed to know each student who crossed his walk, plus their siblings, parents and all the neighborhood dogs. He always had a kind word, a funny story or a heartfelt inquiry for everyone. We often talked about our families and his daughter's upcoming wedding. The corner of Druce and Buckminster will not be the same. He will be missed. - the Kushner family

Such a loss to the Runkle Community. John asked about my children daily, and was particularly interested in my son, Ellis', progress with BHS hockey. Ellis was planning to honor him at one of the home games, as an alumnus of the hockey team. John will certainly be missed each day. We send our love to the family. With love and care, The Vish Family
