Dearest Nancy,
It is still hard to believe Quinton is not with us. I can not begin to imagine what you are going through. I have never seen such a true love that you both had and many couples will never experience. You brought out the best in each other. The two of you were truly blessed to have spent 19 years together.

When K.Q. was born God gave our family a very specil gift. I remember how much his Mother loved him and how careful she was to make certain that she gave him the loving care and nourishment that God intended for him to have. There were times when our Family did not have all of the material things that some families have but I can truly say that the love that we had for one another meant more than the material things. My sister, Aileen, loved each of her children very much and provided their needs in the best way that she could. I have precious memories of K.Q's laughter, hugs and contagious smile. One special memory that I have is him holding my hand in his at his Mother's funeral. Thank you, K.Q. for living your life to the fullest with inspiration and courage and for loving everyone who knew you. You were a very special nephew and I love you. I also love each member of Aileen's family very much! Ken, Martha and family

Uncle "K"...if ever there were two people more deserving of each other it was my Aunt Nancy and you. Whenever we came to visit you both always went out of your way to make sure we had a great time. I will miss our inquisitive conversations...you perfectly grilled steaks and the look of excitement on you face as you planned a fishing trip..(i remember this especially the ones who shared your passion for this sport..namely..my dad and vavo)..it always used to crack me up at how you guys were like a bunch of little boys getting ready for a real adventure...

Dear Nancy---- you were both some of our first neighbors in Sarasota----remember the night at the theater? But most of all, we remember that smile of his, your love for each other (and your 15th anniversary which we learned about at our Grove BBQ!) It is rare to have such a partnership and you were that....we miss him and wish you all the best in your future, whatever it proves to be. love from us both,

TO my Dearest Friend,
When I think of you, I think of you as a "pair." I have known you almost all of my life, but the most Loving part of your life I remember with "K."
You both brought out the best in each other. Every time I called you and K answered and I asked how things were going, the first response i got was "WONDERFUL!" Both of you were soulmates, and that doesn't happen to many of us. The two of you were truly blessed. I miss that raspy voice of his, his always saying to me "come on down!" and his gentleness and kindness for all. He was truly a gift, your gift, as you were his. I love you both.

Uncle K you will forever be in my heart and with special memories that put a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. It hurts to have lost you but an honor to have been blessed with you in our family. I lit a candle last night (Aug. 17) and placed it beside a picture of you from your 50 birthday party, to look at that smile brought a peaceful feeling to the hurt in my heart. Thanks For the Memories Uncle K! Love Sandra

I just want to say K you are on our minds and in our hearts then, now, and always. I'd like to include a tribute (if you will) that I wrote a year ago.

Standing under broken skies-tears are running down my eyes-I cant tell you what my heart want's to say-all I can do is hope and pray.

Looking back to way back when-we stuck together through thick and thin-sometimes we would loose, sometimes we would win-how I wish we could do it all over again.

When I looked into your eyes-it came to me as no surprise-you held your friends and family near. You helped them through their tears and fears.

Many prayers were answered through the times that we lived-there is give and take, and then there's take and give. At a time like this it's more take than give, so much more take than give.

I Love you K!

Nancy, I hope you remember that no matter what tomorrow may bring, our love goes with you always.

Love Terry

Yesterday I thought of you and your quest for the perfect pillow. I know you've found it now and are resting peacefully.

Today, I think of you because it seems like yesterday that you were here we us. Time passes so quickly.

Tonight, once again, I will raise my glass and toast to your life.

It was an honor to know and love you as my friend. You are truly missed by many. Until we meet again,

Oh My Dear Quinton,
How I miss you so so so much! I keep asking why? I long to hold you. I long to smell you. I long to feel you. I miss you in so many ways. I so miss many things about you that it hurts so bad.

I know you are here with me, as you show me often in so many ways.
I believe you will always be there with me....I love You, I Love You, I Love You.

As we told each other...I'll see you in heaven.

It's been a year and the pain of KQ's loss has not abated. I miss his friendship more than I thought I ever would. He was not just my brother-in-law, he was like my brother. What hurts the most is I know I will never share the same bond or deep, deep friendship that we shared with any other of my male friends. He was truly a special friend and a special human being.

My Uncle K..as we called him..was like no one else I have ever known. There are so many words that come to mind when I think of him..every word or thought you immediately think of when you thought of the most beautiful and the most memorable moment of your life. Uncle K was not only a friend..but an advisor and played the role of father I still so desperately miss. He had away about him that the moment he spoke you felt a calm warmth come over you. He was to me the epitamy of self-made man who started with very little and became a man of great accomplishment..but never one to boast such, for he was a very humble man. However, deep in side I knew he was very proud of what he had become. I will miss his deep heartfelt chuckles, his cute smiling face our poolside barbeques and just him always being there for not only me but all of the family. My Uncle K and Aunt Nancy were the most loving and devoted couple..if you neede a picture in the dictionary next to love..it would be them....Cheers and much love to Uncle K...your neice..Laura

When I first met K in Somerville, a few kids formed a Rock group. He was talented, creative, always smiling and happy. Years later he married my sister Nancy. We had lots of fun - visiting Florida, Portugal, fishing, just being together. I will miss you and always treasure those memories we had. God Bless You. Your brother-in-law and friend always.

To KQ and my family. The happiness and love that we have shared with K and our family will last beyond death. Our love for him and the love he has for us will never die. Every Mullins smile there he will be. Every special song there he will be. Every great mullins laugh there he will be. Our family will forever have an empty space that no one can fill. But in our wonderfull memories there you will be. I know that you and mamow will always be watching over us protecting us in heaven as you did here on earth. I will see you in my dreams and forever in my heart. I will miss you every day. But I will also smile every day just like you wanted. Love forever your baby Angel

In Memory of Quinton-I have felt great loss and a part of me gone with the premature passing of my amazing uncle 'KQ'.
Since the day we first met, I have but only fond memories of you. You were truly an uncle to me and an integral part of our family.
I admired you most and will remember you always for your endless devotion to my Aunt Nancy, your love of family, your always positive, caring and calming demeanor when I was around you and your 'zest' for life.
I will hold dear forever the lasting and impressionable memories and great times that we have shared with our time together. Until we meet again.........

My most vivid memories of K.Q are back in the days of our band The Agents. I remember him playing his Rickenbacker 12 stringer through his Vox Super Beatle amp. You could see his excitement when performing on stage. He was always ready with a smile. I will remember him fondly. Those wonderful memories still remain.
God Bless you K.Q.

Uncle K, you were the most compassionate, caring, kind, warm, genuine and sincere man I have ever had the pleasure to have known. Your smile was priceless and your ability to listen and be understanding was always appreciated. My Aunt Nancy was truly blessed to have had you in her life and I know I speak for so many that you have touched when I say you will be forever missed but never forgotten. Have fun fishing and playing the guitar in heaven along with all of those that have passed on before us. God Bless you!

Quinton's gone. I feel as if a light went out, one that we needed and still need.
The brief but intense time we knew each other was always made better and more human by contact with Q. Sometimes the only thing standing between calm and crazy during the project was the lunches we shared every so often.

I admired his way of dealing with people; the same courtesy, kindness and humanity for the CEO as for the common laborer. A rare thing and a sign of a good man.

Dear Nancy, I had the esteemed pleasure of meeting & getting to know Quinton while working on a project with him here in Ocala. Every inquiry was met with a smile & an "Ok, just let me know & I'll take care of it" - & I knew he would. Meeting him in person, I was blessed to know his smile & beautiful demeanor. He has & will continue to be missed by many. I feel privileged to have known him. God bless you & your family at this time & know that Quinton will always be close in your heart.

With deepest sympathy,

I will miss you a lot my friend, supervisor and great, great boss. I've known Quinton for about 7 years and worked on 3 construction projects with him. Both myself and my husband, Chris, offer our deepest sympathy to you, Nancy, but at least he is in peace and not hurting now.

You will be missed greatly, Quinton!

Nancy, Joetta and Family,
I search for the words that would bring comfort to each member of our family at this time. K. Q. was so precious to me and I will always cherish the memory of him holding my hand during his mother's burial. He was my sister's son and a very dear and special nephew. Even though we have suffered a great loss in our family, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 reads that those those who are ready to meet Christ may look forward to one day having a wonderful reunion with K. Q. and our precious loved ones who have gone on before us. We love each of you very much and continue to pray for you. Love and God Bless! Ken, Martha and Family

Dear Nancy, I was fortunate to work with Quinton here in the Tampa office of Regency Centers. All of us here were blessed to have him as a part of our team and we were all so sad when he became ill and had to leave. Bob Baker was our source of contact and information as we all pulled for and prayed for his recovery. His office was never filled ,and its still hard to walk by it every day without seeing him there. Thanks for sharing him with us . May God give you peace and strength. Cary

Dear Nancy,
I will never forget Quinton for the astounding person he was, the friend he has been to my dad, or the mentor he has been (and will be) for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Mullins family. You are an inspiration and a blessing to know. Anyone that knew Quinton for five seconds could tell that he was genuine, sincere, and the extremely kind hearted. I can honestly say that I've never met a nicer person; nor one that loved his wife as much as he did. The only comfort I find is to know that I will see him again.

Dear Nancy & K's family,
I will always remember my dear brother-in-law K - from the first time I met him, I liked him immediately. Then I grew to love him - he was kind, sincere, compassionate and caring. Nancy, you are very lucky to have had him in your life -- even though the time was not long enough for both of you. But treasure the memories forever in your heart. Bless you both always.

Nancy,
K's Family,

Words cannot express my sorrow.

Nancy from the very first time when K came into your life he brought sunshine and love each and every day.

The love that you both shared is one that many only dream of and aspire to have.

You have been a pillar of strenghth and continued to share that bond of love to the very end.

Were it not for our faith his loss would be unbearable.

For now the love of your life is forever in our hearts smiling lovingly as we have always known him to be.

My arms are wrapped around you,

I met KQ in our early teens. We wore tie-dyed shirts and bell bottom jeans. We played guitars together, we traveled together quite often. I even ended up being fortunate enough to marry his fabulous sister. We had many adventures (and misadventures) together. I have had a hole in my heart since his passing. I have never felt the sadness of death as much as I have with losing KQ. It is very hard to cope with knowing I will never be able to spend any more great times with him. But I certainly will have many fond memories.
