Mr. Canner was my 3rd grade teacher at memorial spaulding in around 1996/1997. I just started to learn english so I was a bit behind and was the only minority in his class but not once did he make me feel dumb or different. He was so kind and his warmth gave me loving grandpa/santa vibes. He had me lost in the world of stories when he read books to us. The way he told stories made my imagination go wild. Made me eager to learn more english so I could understand the full stories. He was a kinda and gentle man and have always been my favorite teacher till this day. It a time where I felt like I had no one and lonely in a world that didn´t understand me, he did. or at least tried to. Thank you Mr. Canner. You´ve been such an inspiration in my life.
Sending my love and condolences to Mr. Canners loved ones. He is a GEM!

Sorry to hear of Mark's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
