Dear Oky and family. Michael will be missed. Even though we have only known him in the past few years,we quickly learned what a generous and loving friend he was. He was so kind to all the Mah Jonng ladies buying us wine, lunches and treats. He made each of us feel very special. He had a keen sense of humor and was a very intelligent man. We know he enjoyed our parties. But ,above all, he was a loving family man and you knew Oky and his children were the most important thing in his life. Rest in Peace, dear Michael. Love Melita and Bill Vonier.

Dear Oky and Family - we will all be missing Michael here in Avalon. He loved his community and worked so hard to keep it a wonderful place to live. He loved Oky's friends - he always sent Oky off with candy for us at Mah Jongg and he participated good heartedly in so many of our activities. Most of all though, when we think of Michael, we will remember how much he loved Oky and his children and grandchildren. We were all jealous of the beautiful jewelry and gifts he showered on Oky - nothing was too good for her. You could just see how pleased he was when his family came to visit. Michael - you will be missed greatly by all.
With love,
Donna and Bob

To OKY and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Our fondest memories of Mike was when Oky and Mike joined us for an Alaskan cruise in 2004. They came to our home in Oregon afterwards and Mike enjoyed listening to 1920's jazz music with CJ and Barbara.
Our largest connection to Mike and Oky are our married children, David and Linda as well as our wonderful grandchildren Zachary and Greta. We will miss Mike at west coast family gatherings and his outspoken humor.
We send our love and condolences to his entire family. He will always be fondly remembered.

Michael was very special to our family. I'll miss his warm heart and funny spirit. He always made me laugh. I'll fondly remember the Father's Day/Pool Parties at his house when I was a little girl. Michael was so genuine and always so interested in what was happening in the lives of my family. He also holds a special place in my husband Mark's heart. Michael immediately welcomed Mark into the family as soon as they met and they had a connection to the Engineering field, which they spent countless hours talking about. Mark cherishes the time they spent together. Oky, David, Steven, Linda and Families, I express my deepest sympathies at this most difficult time for you in the loss of an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. I wish you love, peace and strength, especially in the next few days.
