Today is March 2nd 2024 and my family just heard of Mona's passing. Our sincere condolences to all who loved Mona, she was a very special individual gifted with an angelic energy. My mother Mary was her hair stylists for many decades at the Beauty Castle in Fields Corner Dorchester before she sold her salon and lost touch with Mona several years ago. Of all my mother's clients, I literally only remember a handful of them, and Mona stood out to me the most, I remember her since I was a little boy, and I can still clearly hear her sweet Irish brogue in my thoughts, she was a true angel. My mother Mary always talks about Mona and in fact just brough t up her name a few short months ago. Rest in peace Mona, you were well loved and will be missed.
