We are so saddened to learn of Paula's passing! We had no idea of this until we went to our favorite music store yesterday, Ted Cole's Music! Although we are originally from the area, we moved to So. Attleboro twelve years ago, but continued to shop and regularly order music at Ted Cole's. Paula was always so helpful and had such a great selection of piano music available for teachers like us to look through! And we always had a very enjoyable conversation with her whenever we visited. She will be greatly missed!

I grew up in Salem and have been a customer of Ted Cole's Music since just about as long as I can remember! My memories of Ted Cole's will always be with me as Paula and her Father were two of the nicest people ever.I remember my mother bartering with Ted Cole for a cheaper price on a guitar I wanted several times! My first 2 guitars were purchased there. Paula always did the special ordering for me from 1965 to this year.I always had a conversation with her whenever I strolled into the store. She will be greatly missed in Salem. I wish all the best for her family and feel a great sadness hearing of her passing. She was always the "JEWEL" of Ted Cole's.

We are sending you a more personal card too, but wanted to make a public statement, too. She had such a gentle soul.

Being a Music teacher and a Mom, my kids will remember Paula as the "lady at Ted Coles who always let them play with the box of toys." Throughout the years Paula always was there with patience and a smile. She even was willing to let me look at every bassoon. clarinet,or saxophone reed each and every time I came into make a purchase. My sincerest condolences to her family.

I knew Paula only as the kind woman at Ted Cole's who often would help me find music or order what wasn't there. I always appreciated her helpful attitude and friendliness. I can't believe she's gone. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with those who will miss her the most - her family.

We have lost a treasured friend, every musician, teacher and music lover in this area has passed by her smile. Paula and her dad, Ted, were also friends of my family. As kids, Paula and I experienced many happy times together as good friends throughout high school, then reuniting again in the late 80's. Always friendly, helpful, joking, kind, polite, respectful and caring. To Paula's family, "I am so sorry for your loss". With deepest sympathy,

I always loved to come in to the store and talk with Paula, Paul and Jerry. In addition to being a treasure trove of musical knowledge and a gracious and generous woman, Paula also loved photography. She would show Len and I her photos from trips taken together with Paul. We would talk about her photos and then she would show us the latest pictures of her grandchildren.
Len knew Paula since she was a teenager. Paula's love for her husband, family and for all those who were lucky enough to know her, made a difference in all of our lives. We miss you, sweet Paula!
Love,

We're very sorry to hear of Paula's passing and we offer our sincere condolences to the family. Ted Cole's has been such a staple for so long, and such an enjoyable place to visit. I still have song books and records from the 70's that I bought there, and throughout all the years Paula was always so nice, helpful, and a pleasure to talk with. She was a beautiful person and will be missed by many folks. Guy & Erica Ford.

To the Family of Paula,
Paula's passing has deeply affected so many people. She was a bright light in Ted Coles, and I'm sure to everyone who knew her.
When I first moved to this area four years ago, Paula helped me grow my teaching business, and put me in touch with the North Shore Piano Teachers Guild which has meant so much to me. Helping find the right music seemed to bring her as much pleasure as it did me!
Once, I admired Paula's perfume, and she ran to the back of the store and gave me a little sample bottle that she had. Paula will remain in our thoughts always.

To the Cole and Audet Families,
Please accept my sincere and deep sympathy. Paula was always cheerful and helpful for all the members of the North Shore Piano Teachers Guild. At our 50th anniversary luncheon Paula came as a guest of honor. She gave each one of us a flowering plant--a very kind gesture.

There isn't a person in Salem...or the North Shore, for that matter...who has not been helped by Paula. If there was a song, record, piece of music or method book she didn't know, it was because it didn't exist. She helped the careers of countless musicians and singers and DJ's...she even gave us Steve Tyrell! My love to the entire family and know she will never be forgotten.
