I met Dick thirty years ago at Friendly's after a weekday Mass at St. Edwards. Since then I have been with him at perhaps thousands of Masses, because we both went to daily Mass. I never saw a single time after daily Mass, whether at St.Ed's or the Westgate Chapel, when Dick did not stop and put money—always bills—in the poor-box on his way out of Church. Never have I seen a person do that on a daily basis for such an extended period of time. Few do it at all. There was something very spiritually special in what Dick did—something truly of God. No one who so cared for the poor in time has anything to worry about in eternity. Dick and Tyson are back together, and I'd give you trillion to one odds on that, if I could find a bookie who would take the bet!!

To the Stanton Family,

I am sorry for your loss. Dick & I worked many years together at the Globe and shared many laughs together after we both retired.
Dick was a very caring person. He was supportive to my family when we lost my mother-in law. We still have the perpetual blessing he sent in front of her picture. Dick will be in my prayers. I know he is with
God. Dick, say hello to my mother-in-law in heaven.
