I met Dick thirty years ago at Friendly's after a weekday Mass at St. Edwards. Since then I have been with him at perhaps thousands of Masses, because we both went to daily Mass. I never saw a single time after daily Mass, whether at St.Ed's or the Westgate Chapel, when Dick did not stop and put money—always bills—in the poor-box on his way out of Church. I am sorry for your loss. Dick & I worked many years together at the Globe and shared many laughs together after we both retired.
Dick was a very caring person. He was supportive to my family when we lost my mother-in law. We still have the perpetual blessing he sent in front of her picture. Dick will be in my prayers. I know he is with
