Hello Brian, I just this evening learned of Scott´s passing and thought we never met Scott was a long ago friend in my K-12 West Boylston days, Boy Scout Troop 13, and college. Indeed, he was the one who told me about Allegheny College where we both attended and graduated. To this day, I still have a profoundly deep connection to Allegheny College and if not for Scott turning me onto to the college, my left for sure would have been a very different direction. Scott and I lost contact a long time ago now though Kim had provided some updates at a class reunion or two. My husband, Mike, and I live coincidentally just minutes away in Milton and I previously in Boston´s South End but somehow we never crossed paths. It seems you took great care of Scott through his health challenges and the world is a better place for that.

Scott was a handsome, kind, and exceptionally intelligent man, whose courage shone through in every step of his journey. His struggle was undeniably real, yet he faced each challenge with remarkable strength, always working hard to improve his life. Through his most difficult days, he had Brian by his side-an incredible partner who stood with him for many, many years including the last challenging 17 years, offering unwavering love and support. Their bond was a testament to true devotion.
Scott also found joy and companionship in his beloved pup, Chevy, who brought light into his world and was cherished deeply. The love between them was palpable, and Chevy provided comfort during Scott´s last year, a reminder of the simple, unconditional love that dogs offer.
While Scott´s passing leaves a deep void, his legacy of love, strength, and resilience lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever remain a source of inspiration for those who witnessed his brave journey, and for Brian, who gave so much of himself to ensure Scott's comfort and happiness until the very end.
My heart goes out to Brian and all who were touched by Scott´s life. His presence, though missed, will never be forgotten.

Dear Brian,
How can one measure the loss of such an amazing man? I wanted to share with you that, back when Patty and I lived in Roslindale, Scott made a tremendous impact on my life. He took the time once or twice a week to mentor and teach me how to program, and his patience, generosity, and knowledge were truly inspiring.
Scott wasn´t just a mentor; he was a guiding light during that time, and his influence has stayed with me ever since. His dedication and kindness will always be remembered and cherished.
Please accept my deepest condolences. My thoughts are with you and your family during this incredibly difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy,

Brian,
I can't begin to fathom what you are going through at this time. Scott was one of a kind. You guys clicked from the very beginning. You've been there for each other all along the years. It may not have always been easy but it certainly was loving. May time and memories bring you comfort. My condolences to his mom and sister as well.

Brian,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you during this difficult time. From the moment you and Scott moved in next door, I felt an immediate connection. I fondly remember the nights we spent shoveling the walkway at midnight, drinking hot chocolate, and throwing snowballs. I cherish the memories of chatting over the fence while he came home from work, with Jasper and Cyprus running around and playing with Bear. I can still hear his laughter when Bear would jump into his arms over the fence.
I also loved sitting in your parlor, engaging in deep iconversations with Scott. He always made sure to ask about the kids, John, and me. Even though it became a bit more challenging to communicate in recent years, he still found a way to keep up with all of us.
Please know that my thoughts are with you.
Warmest regards,
Patty

Brian, my deepest condolences to you and Scott´s family. Scott was an amazing person who we were lucky enough to live next door to for some time. I´ll cherish the memories I have of coming over to say hello, tell you about school or what was going on in life, play with Jasper and Cyprus, watch the Roslindale parade together, and much more. Scott was a great neighbor and friend. You both were so much like family to us. My heart goes out to you.
