To Stan's Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I knew Stan and Judy from working in the store when I was in high school. I started there in 1986 and worked for him for a few years after school and on Saturdays. He was the best! We got to know each other well. He would tell me stories about his life. He became like a second farther to me. He was always happy to give me advice and wisdom about teenage stuff. He gave good advice and I truly appreciated that. I kept in contact with him by stopping into the store or calling him from time to time over the years. Unfortunately I lost contact with him for a couple of years around the time he sold his shop. Last summer I made a point to contact him and went to see him. I was so glad I did. We picked right up where we left off. I will miss our talks. Again my condolences to your family

When Stan closed his store in Marblehead, it was the end of an era. He has been much missedespecially at the Driftwoodever since.
He always spoke with such pride of his wife, Judy, and his children and grandchildren. Love of family was so important to him.
Condolences to all of his remaining family.

Thoughts of and prayers to Mr. Sacks family.I have had the pleasure and honor to have known Stan for most of my life. He was a wonderful man, with a terrific sense of humor, and abound with kindness.I was hired by Stan from time to time to help with a delivery or antique pick-up to be brought back to the shop.I helped him out with other projects as well. He always had time to talk and teach me about antiques. He was extremely knowledgeable about his profession, and many other topics in life.I enjoyed our time together,He kept a cut out from the reporter of Linc Hawkes and his ox "Humpy"peering in the open door to Stan`s antique store ,with the caption reading"Hey Stan ,have you ever seen a bull in a China Shop ?fortunately they passed by and went into the Landing!!!there is still a sandwich at the Driftwood restaurant that bears Stan`s name on it as well. Mr.Sacks always told me how proud he was of his family. He had the longest running retail store for years in town before his retirement. He was known to hundreds of residents and their children over the years.Sacks Antiques was an"Institution in Marblehead, and so was Stan..

I have known Stanley since I was in High School, c.1960. Over the years, we had many lovely conversations at his antique store in Marblehead. I was proud to call him a Brother Mason at Philanthropic Lodge of Masons in Marblehead where we were both members.
I'll miss Stan; a really true gentleman and kind spirit.
My condolences to Stanley's Family and friends.

Dear Karen and Patty,
I am so sorry about Stan. We got to know each other again at Lasell and he was a dear friend of my mother's. I often wonder why we never ran into each other at Lasell. Now that I think about it, we got friendly here in Marblehead where I have lived for many years.
So thinking of you and your family at this time and just remembering what a lovely man your Dad was.

I had many, many, many lunches with Stan over the years at the Driftwood... he was a special guy who remembered me as a little girl growing up downtown... always went out of his way to make me feel special... when I got married, Stan presented us with a beautiful coin silver teaspoon from his shop, that I cherish... a one of a kind, great man... RIP, Stan...

Although we had friends that knew your parents, we hadn't met them until we all went to Athens on a trip. We had a ball. My mother and I were talking about how much money we had spent and how we were going to hide it from my dad. Your dad offered to lend us money so my dad wouldn't find out. He was a wonderful man and I am sorry to hear of his passing. My mother, Beth Downs and the Buffalinos were also on that trip. Now they can reminisce with your parents. I am so sorry for your loss.

Uncle Stan was a kind, caring man who always appreciated my visits with Diane. He loved to recall stories of our dad growing up. I will always think of him around the holidays when the honey arrived just in time for the New Year! Please know the Finegold family is thinking of you at this very difficult time.
