Father Steve, May peace be with you as you enter the promised land. You were a wonderful inspiration and a lot of fun on the many trips we took with you to France, Italy, Israel, Turkey and Greece. You were a gift to us all.
God Bless You, Eileen and Dottie.

We will always remember you Fr. Steve, and your great lectures on Theology Sunday's and Homilies..especially the Easter Vigil at Christ House as we stood oustide atop the hill in Lafayette, the Easter fire burning and you loudly proclaiming; "Jesus Christ is Lord!" You were a gift to us all! Love and prayers, pray for us, Pat and Joe Connelly

I am saddened to learn of Fr. Stephen's death and remember his smiling face at the Shrine on Arch St. He imparted much knowledge to those who heard him speak and he certainly made Scripture come alive in his pilgrimages to the Holy Land. What a great legacy he has left behind!

Fr. Steve, Abuna, lives in my memory as Seeking Jesus in His Own Land, memories of the Holy Land, Italy, St. Paul, the former Our Lady of Peace Biblical Institute in Narragansett, RI, and the all too short time I had helping him in the Franciscan Pilgrimage Office. He was the only person who had the patience to help teach me my job. There will never be a day when he and the Bible will not be a part of my life. There will never be a time when the memories of his wonderful family will not give me hope for a tomorrow. May they all receive the comfort they need losing a brother, uncle so soon after losing their sister, aunt, mother in Florida. Blessings and prayers. Alice Kast
