Dearest Laura and Family,

Just received news about Steve. So shocked for me! So sad and so sorry to learn about your loss. My heart goes out to you all.

Steve was my ex-boss. He was such a wonderful and supportive boss to me. He was the first person to bring me a Singaporean to watch an American football game. When I had bleeding issues while alone in Boston and 5 months pregnant, he informed my other colleagues about it and asked a colleague to help bring me to Winchester Hospital. Whenever he was going to come to Singapore, he was very sincere in wanting to make the contact. Somehow our traveling timetables clashed, and we never get to meet. I wished I had the chance during those times to meet you after you left Boston.

Laura, Jordan and Kevin, please stay strong for Steve's sake. Laura, He always told me about you. I can tell he deeply loves you and family very much. Kevin, I met you before when you just started in Northeastern University. One time I remembered your father telling me how proud he is when you made it to Northeastern University. Jordan, your dad told me but I forgot where you went, but your dad is always concern about your safety, whatever credit air miles he could get, it seems he tried to save it for his children and not for himself.

Yours Sincerely ,
With Deepest Sympathy,
Riwis Chua

Dear Laura, Jodan and Kevin,
We were shocked to hear the newsof Steve's death. You are in our prayers and heart.
Couldn't help thinking of the many times he drove Jordan to work with the strict instructions not to get out of the car because he had his dark socks on with his shorts! Or how he fooled Laura with a surprise birthday dinner at the Lyceum and with Jordan working that night!

Our deepest sympathies to you all.

Dear Laura, Jordan, and Kevin,
My heart aches for all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. I truly am at a loss for words. Laura, as you know, I saw Steve only a few times, but in those few occasions I could see how personable, caring and kind he was and I could tell how much he loved his family. He also had the greatest smile. I particularly remember what a nice time we all had at the Christmas party at the Herb Lyceum in Groton. Memories are a wonderful resource when it comes to healing. Laura, please call me or e-mail me whenever you feel up to it.
Love, Elaine Haran

So sorry to hear about Steven. I have fond memories of the fun we had in the Youth Group at church, and how he tried to teach me how to drive a standard. He had a great sense of humor, a friendly, genuine smile and was a devoted friend to all who knew him. Keeping you all in my prayers.
