My deepest condolences to her family, especially her sisters Patricia and Bernadette. You were the kindest and most wonderful sisters to Virginia and she loved you both so very much. I’m so sorry for your loss. I will miss her so much. She was a good friend to me.

I was very sad to read today that my old friend Virginia O’Brien died 7 days ago. She lived in the apartment above me in South Boston and would always stop in on her way home from work. We had many dinners and drinks out and at home at each other’s apts. She was a lot of fun. She was always rescuing animals in trouble. As the years passed I always kept in touch with Virginia - she’d babysit Mishka when I was away and we had many late night telephone conversations. The past few years her sisters have cared for her. There were so many times and so many memories I will always cherish. She was a dear friend. Rest In Peace Virginia. I will miss you very much.
