VIRGINIA SWANBON

SWANBON, Virginia (Thomas) 88, on May 22, of Milford, NH, formerly of Ayer, West Palm Beach, FL and Belmont. Her husband of 66 years, Walter E. Swanbon died in 2017. She was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School and Howard Business School. As a young woman, she worked at The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston where she became a devoted member throughout her life. She leaves three sons, Walter E. Swanbon of Amherst, NH, Donald J. Swanbon of Ayer, Thomas W. Swanbon of Mandeville, LA; two daughters, Judith B. Logan of Natick, Sandra L. Swanbon-Smith of Milford, NH; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Muriel Dockstader of West Lafayette, IN and Emily Goble of Gresham, OR. She was predeceased by her brother Gordon Thomas. A celebration of Mrs. Swanbon's life will be held 1PM Friday, May 25, in the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road (Rt.2A), AYER. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton. A calling hour will be held prior to the service on Friday from Noon until the time of the service.
