Cherished sister of Linda Hurl of South Boston, Charles Hurl and his wife Catherine of South Boston, Thomas Hurl of Braintree, Christine Hurl and her partner Phillip Deguzman of South Boston and Anne Dickerman and her husband Warren of Braintree. Loving daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Mullen) Hurl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home 146 Dorchester Street South Boston on Thursday October 28th from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church 615 East Fourth Street South Boston on Friday October 29th at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment Mt Benedict Cemetery West Roxbury. Cathryn was longtime employee of South Boston Savings Bank and Pappas Properties. Justine and Walter, we are all heartbroken by the loss of Cathy. She was always a bright light, a generous person, and so much fun to be around. We will cherish our wonderful memories with her. I was saddened to learn of the death of Cathy, she was always helpful to me when I went to So. Boston Savings Bank, I took her wedding photos in 1985. I will remember Cathy in prayer at this difficult time.
