Claire M. Deveau

DEVEAU Claire M. (Butts, Age 93, of Dorchester, died May 22 after complications from a stroke in West Newton. She was married to Leonard E. Deveau for 54 years until he preceded her in death in 1998. Claire is survived by her sister, Isabelle Donlan; her children, Leonard Deveau and Meredith Farinato; her grandchildren, Heather Deveau, John Matthew Farinato, Christen Humble, Nicholas Farinato, and Samantha Farinato; her great-grandchild, Taylor Humble, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Interment will be alongside her husband at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne with a graveside memorial service later this summer. The family expresses sincere gratitude to Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Waltham and the staff at Golden Living Center in West Newton. Arrangements are under the care of Brady Fallon Funeral Home of Boston.
