Dear Donna and family, Does the pain of the loss of a loved one ever go away...no. My heart goes out to you, but I hope you are finding comfort knowing Richard was a great dad and loving husband. I respected him so much for the devotion he showed his family...just like his dad did. I hope you are all doing well and you are in my thoughts.

Donna and family, I'm so saddened to hear of your loss. I remember Richard as a kid being so happy, kind and easy going. He was ALWAYS smiling. I have so many fun memories of Richard. He didn't sit for a minute..always on the go looking for the next adventure. He was very good to his brothers, sisters and his mother, Francis. Whenever I slept over, I remember him being a quiet and gentle soul who respected everyone. He was such a family man and a loving husband. This world has truly lost a wonderful soul, all too early. Rest in peace, Richard.

I was so sorry to hear about Rich. A great friend over the years and like a brother to me. Living next door growing up, playing in the yard, camping, skating, skiing, swimming, flashlight tag, walking to school everyday, countless sleepovers, sitting between all of the Curley's on their couch watching Donnie and Marie and The Bobby Vinton Hour, MASH, race cars, cub scouts, hiding in the bushes trying to catch the neighbor's cat, telephone with paper cups and string between our houses, just countless hours hanging out in our yards.....all great memories. We will all miss you so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you Donna and kids. He was an awesome dad...a role model....a true and great friend.
