Kathy Austin Obituary
Kathy Austin, 60, of Belgrade passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sat., July 16, 2011. She was born in Endicott, N.Y., on Aug. 8, 1950, to Richard and Helen (Woods) Cortright. She moved to Bozeman fifteen years ago and loved volunteering at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
She is survived by her "Hon", Everett Nelson of Belgrade; her loving dog, Missy; son, Joel Austin of Newark Valley, N.Y. and daughter, Amy (Brian) Boice of Vestal, N.Y.; Nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's name to the Bozeman Deaconess Foundation, 931 Highland Blvd., Ste 3200, Bozeman, Mont., 59715.
A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Tues., July 19, at Dokken Nelson Sunset Chapel.
