Atlanta, Georgia - Clifford Allen Bacon passed away in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born in Bradenton, FL, to Doretha and Willie Bacon. Following his graduation from Lincoln Memorial High School, Cliff worked at Belk-Lindsey Department Store in Manatee County before joining the Hospitality Industry working long tenures in Management in Orlando, FL. Before Atlanta, GA, where he ultimately settled, he finished his career path with The City of Atlanta as Auditorium Supervisor of Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. He retired at the age of 85 years old. Cliff was a long-standing and dedicated member of World Changers Church International, pastored by Creflo & Taffy Dollar based in College Park, Georgia, where he faithfully served on the Usher Board. Clifford A. Bacon was deeply loved and leaves behind a host of many family members, friends and colleagues. Mark Eppinger & Sons Funeral Service, Inc. of Atlanta, GA, is in charge of arrangements.

Mickey gave me my first real paying job at Belk Lindsey when I was only 15 years old. Under his tutelage, I learned a lot about merchandising and how to manage my monies for future endeavors. Mick was a devoted community activist when it wasn't popular to be in that field at that time. He was a member of the Bradenton NAACP and with the aid of his boss M.C. Quattlebum set out to register many Blacks in Manatee County. I tagged along with he and Mr. Grant Johnson to many NAACP functions around the state as a youth representative in the NAACP. I appreciated Mick for showing me the way to work in the community helping those in need. For all the learning and good times spent with him, he will be missed dearly. He was truly a good friend
